Brett J. Goodman is licensed as an attorney by the State Bar of California. Brett began his career at one of the largest accounting, tax, and consulting firms in the world, PricewaterhouseCoopers, before specializing in estate planning. Brett understands that every family’s situation is unique, and he has helped many couples and individuals to protect and pass on their assets, minimize tax exposure, and craft and carry out carefully tailored plans.
Brett’s practice areas include estate planning, trust administration, and probate and estate law. Brett earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Chapman University, Dale E. Fowler School of Law in Orange, California, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Middle Eastern Studies and Arabic from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. While in Law School, Brett served as the president of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society.
Brett grew up in Tustin, California, and now lives in Aliso Viejo with his wife and three children. Brett is fluent in Spanish, having spent two years as a full-time missionary.
